As an artist, I always remember her having a good camera with a wide variety of lenses to work with.

A passion was born as I would use her camera more and more as we attended Reds games in particular. I decided to move to attend the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and my first week at school I met my future wife.

After an excellerated path to graduation I began freelancing for the Associated Press and Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. I started as an intern with the Trib the day the Pittsburgh Press went on strike and stayed with the paper for the next 24 years.

My assignments included anything that was of interest to the people of Western PA. Whether it was the Steelers (I have shot 4 Super Bowls), the President (I have covered 6 of them), a feature, spot news, or a portrait, I have seen a lot through my camera over the years.

I left the Trib to concentrate more on my own business as I felt the timing was perfect for me to take the leap. With that leap is a whole new world of subjects I now photograph. I will be posting some of them here and I hope you enjoy.
